Big Improvements Underway
According to Community Impact, Tomball ISD voters approved a $275 million bond for Tomball ISD for new constructions projects that will include new schools, facilities, improvements and property. Bond measures that will directly impact Rosehill Reserve students include:
- New agricultural barn for Tomball High School
- New district football stadium
- Instructional technology such as laptops, Chromebooks, and document cameras & upgrades to district technology infrastructure
- Fine arts auditorium renovations at Tomball High School
- Renovations to the front elevation of Tomball Intermediate School
- Turf added to the baseball & softball fields at Tomball High
- Purchase of buses
Early College Program
The Tomball Star Academy Early College High School opens on Aug. 22. By 2021, its first class - 105 enrollees - may earn up to 60 college credit hours and an associates of art degree, free of charge - by the time they graduate from high school. The district, which partnered with LSC-Tomball with the hope of creating a learning environment that blends high school with the rigor of the first two years of college, is hoping the program adds a dynamic element to Tomball ISD's academic offerings.
