Beauty is on the horizon for a new Tomball residential community

Rosehill Reserve is a brand new community currently being built in the Tomball area by Harrigan Development Partner, LLC. The property gives residents a taste of the country while also providing great access to the bustle of city life in Houston.

On 670 acres of land that formerly served as the DeShazer Arabian Horse Farm, approximately 1500 homes will be built in a beautiful, close­knit community full of great features. Home builders involved in the development of the property are Ashton Woods, Drees homes, Highland Homes, M/I Homes, and CalAtlantic Homes. Christopher Gilbert, President of Rooted Development Group, shares the project has been in the works for a few years and great plans are ahead for this new area of Tomball.

“We first started on the project two years ago. We closed on the property in December [2014] and began construction almost immediately. We’ve been under construction since January or February of 2015 and we have another month or two to go for the first phase.”

The community will have lakes, a resort­style pool, nature trails and pocket parks amongst other exclusive features. Currently, the old DeShazer Horse Barn has been repurposed into The Reserve, the community clubhouse. It is a 17,000 square foot elegant building with a grand ballroom, spiraling staircase, an open courtyard and horse stables with a few of the remaining Arabian horses from the DeShazer’s.

“We wanted to build a community where people could embrace the peace and quiet of country living with ideal location for a work/life balance,” says Brian McGown, Developer at Harrigan Development Partner, LLC. “It’s a draw for professionals who want a luxury community where they can also catch their breath.”

Rosehill Reserve is conveniently situated between Highways 290 and 249 making a commute down Mueschke or Cypress Rosehill Roads and on into Houston city limit a breeze. The soon to be opened Grand Parkway is and F.M. 2920 are also nearby the community giving professionals a fast route to the Energy Corridor along I­10 or into the growing business hub in Tomball.

There is a projected seven year completed build out on the community, but homes will first become available for purchase in May and range from the $250s to $800s. Rosehill Reserve will be a great addition to the Tomball community with its great features and family atmosphere. It has a perfect location, making commutes to nearly anywhere in Houston pleasant and efficient.
