Former NFL player Gabe Northern opened Yoga A&M on Jan. 2 at 802 W. Main St., Tomball, behind the Tomball Animal Hospital. The studio focuses on integrating yoga and sports practices to improve strength, power and agility and reduce stress. Lessons may be heat-assisted or infused with essential oils, and classes also draw from Northern's football experience.
Zazza Pizza Cafe celebrated its grand opening Feb. 26 at 25750 Kuykendahl Road, Tomball. With an original location on FM 1488 in Conroe, the cafe offers signature pizzas, pasta dishes, baked sandwiches, calzones, salads and chicken wings. The eatery also offers a children’s menu, desserts and a $10 lunch special.
EarthWise Pet Supply will open in June at 3570 FM 1488 Road, Ste. 500. Franchise owner Stephanie Fitzpatrick said the shop specializes in all natural and holistic pet foods and supplements and will carry a wide selection of treats, toys, grooming supplies, leashes and collars for both dogs and cats. Fitzpatrick said the store will also offer grooming services and will feature self-wash stations.
Owners Archie and Catie Waller launched SOS Motorsports in January at 18207 N. Eldridge Parkway, Ste. A2, Tomball. The business offers repairs and accessories for automatic and off-road vehicles, such as cars, trucks, vans, ATVs, boats, four-wheelers and dirt bikes. SOS carries a wide variety of manufacturers for lifts, wheels, tires, power enhancers, performance products, lighting and other accessories.
