Local New Businesses Popping Up in Tomball

The once small town of Tomball is undergoing a proliferation of new business. In the past couple of years, the city has experienced substantial growth—fueling the housing market and boosting quality of life. Residents enjoy easy access to everything they need, including a variety of great shops and entertainment. Here’s what new businesses are popping up around our community Rosehill Reserve, according to Community Impact. 

Seasons Boutique

Retail boutique Seasons, located at 402 E. Main, Tomball, opened April 21. The shop features stained glass, glass art, jewelry, tile, art and home decor. 

Commerce Street Clothiers 

Jaime and Brian Groff celebrated the opening of Commerce Street Clothiers on June 8 at 110 Commerce St., Tomball. The business—located next door to the Groff’s other venture, Home and Ranch Outfitters—features men’s apparel and accessories.

Captain Brad’s Coastal Kitchen 

Seafood restaurant Captain Brad’s Coastal Kitchen, located at 24435 Hwy. 249, Tomball, will open later this year, according to an April news release from real estate firm The Weitzman Group. The restaurant leased space in Northpointe Center near the intersection of Hwy. 249 and Northpointe Boulevard in April.

Healthcare Massage

Owner Julia Jia opened Healthcare Massage at 706 W. Main St., Tomball, in March. The studio offers wellness massages in a relaxed environment.  

Sandlewood Manor

Sandlewood Manor, a wedding and events venue, will open in November at 22402 Holly Creek Trail, Tomball. Co-owner Lauren Sparks said the property spans 27 acres, featuring a manor house, chapel, pond, pecan orchard, horse stables, a century-old home, and a pool and outdoor cocktail area.

Northpointe Storage 

Northpointe Storage, an 8.5-acre storage and retail center, opened in May at 17903 Shaw Road, Cypress. The facility offers storage for boats, recreation vehicles, all-terrain vehicles and trailers as well as climate-controlled storage units.


EarthWise Pet Supply will open in June at 3570 FM 1488 Road, Ste. 500. Franchise owner Stephanie Fitzpatrick said the shop specializes in all natural and holistic pet foods and supplements and will carry a wide selection of treats, toys, grooming supplies, leashes and collars for both dogs and cats.
