Tomball is home to a wealth of mom-and-pop restaurants serving up tasty food, unique shops, live event venues and even a drive-in movie theatre. It’s no wonder why so many people want to live here. And it keeps getting better!
According to a recent article by Community Impact, a vintage-style market street with a brewery is underway as well!
The retail and restaurant development on Market Street in Old Town Tomball is quickly taking shape as tenant move-in nears, said Bryan Hutson, owner of The Hutson Group, a family-owned company developing the property.
The vintage-style Market Street development is anchored by Fire Ant Brewing Company, the city’s first brewpub, offering craft beers and food. After more than two years since breaking ground, Fire Ant Brewing Company is estimated to open in early fall at 308 Market St., Hutson said.
Other tenant spaces include Turquoise Door—a boutique that is relocating from West Main Street—one future restaurant space and three other unoccupied retail spaces, Hutson said. He said Turquoise Door will likely open at the new location in early September, as build-out of the retail space is ongoing.
